We are developers who have built several apps that utilize OAuth2 for a variety of providers. We are attempting to complete an app that simply, on request, generates a payment from a user's PayPal account (via one of the options they have on file) and sends the payment to a select recipient via email.
With other OAuth2 providers, we apply for a Client ID and Secret and, on our application, after implementing the provided Client ID and Secret for that provider, users of our application can click a link, sign into the provider in question, and then select an option that permits our application to access that user's account for that provider.
On PayPal, we have applied for and successfully implemented our PayPal Client ID and Secret, but we see no documentation on how a user of our application would permit their specific PayPal account to be utilized by our application (in this case, to allow for payment generation)? Is this not how PayPal handles OAuth2? Otherwise, how would we gain authorization to pull the specific details (regarding payment options, etc) from a specific PayPal account?
