All my buyers are from outside the US ( actually the UK ) but the default form for payment always defaults to a US style address with US credit cards ( ie excluding switch which is important in the UK ). Does anyone know how to default the location to be 'Outside the US'. Is there any attribute on the Buy Now button code that I need to set ? Any help would be most appreciated.

Sadly Paypal are still ignoring the rest of the world outside the US and it isn't possible at the moment.Supposedly this is in the pipeline, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

However, make sure you let the customer support people at Paypal know, and something may eventually be done.

I've had a look at the threads on this elsewhere now. Looks like this issue has been out there for ages. So PayPal what is the latest on this now, considering we are in late July ( i.e. in the "after June" period ). It looks like you need to restore some good faith in the international merchents using your service...quite urgently. Waiting for your reply with interest. Thanks.

As stated previously, we are working on modifications to this which should be available shortly. I'm not aware of anyone from PayPal indicating they would be inplace by the "middle of June".

It's not a "stupidly easy" change. It affects a very small percentage of users. The changes will roll out "several weeks or months" from April 8th along with a number of significant international enhancements.

the best developer ever...?
what a joke!

what is so hard to locate (translate) minimum the websides which are needed for our customers if they'd like to pay? (i don't talk about the complete paypal-developer-pages)

just 3-4 page to translate in maybe the 7 most important languages?! how long will this need? 1 hour for 7 students?!

and there is nothing to develope! multi-location-support is already included in apache/jsp/asp!

it's not a developer-question! it's just unprofessional, arrogant and at the moment typical american!

Patrick,

how will we be notified when this feature has been implemented ? Where should I be looking for paypal announcements ? I would want to implement this feature as soon as it becomes available. Thanks
