UPS shipping requirements

We're trying to get to the point where we can use UPS to ship our items with our website. Only problem: we're having trouble making it where people are required to enter a non PO Box mailing address and phone number into their information portion.

Does anyone have any solution tips on this? We'd like to keep it within the PayPal shopping cart setup, if possible. Any help would be very, VERY much appreciated.

It can be done if you don't mind a little script added to your PayPal cart code.

1. You can make telephone number a required field by adding a verification routine to check for it. The number would be added to some field of the cart (option field 1, for example).

2. You need to collect and store the shipping address yourself (rather than let PayPal do it). Then that address is scanned or "box" (this can get pretty detailed), and the FORM would not be submitted if present. The valid address would then be added to a PyaPal field (option field 2, for example).

So the shipping addr and tele would be in the cart, and you wouod ensure it was OK, and you would ignore the addr provided by PayPal.
