Same conclusion here. I've been trying to debug a script that works fine in the sandbox but not in the real system. The script was working fine yesterday. In my case, it appears that the successful return URL is being called without any of the POST variables that I still get in the sandbox. Is anybody else seeing the same problem?

Same problem. Return data is empty. Any solutions anyone? This is a HUGE bug for paypal.

As soon as someone knows how to fix this or that it was fixed by paypal -- PLEASSSSSSSSE email me and let me know...

I have did some testing on the live system too. Here is what I have found:

The IPN sent after purchase IS containing all of the required data. BUT, the new "Return to Merchant" (replaced the "Continue" Button) button DOES NOT have any data being transferred with it. It is sending blank post data.

**Edit** Just noticed that there is an error on Paypal's website:

We are sorry that we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later.

Mine is still not working. This is what I get when I look at the last page:

<form method="post" action="https://www.liveawealthierlife.com/1.9/linklokipnret.php">
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tr><td><img alt="" border="0" src="/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" class="verticalSpacerHigh" width="1" height="1"></td></tr></table>
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tr><td align="right" width="100%" class="globalButtons"><input type="submit" name="" value="Return to Merchant"></td></tr></table>
</form>

No post data there.

Ah.. then that would explain why it is working for you. The IPNs are being sent from Paypal's servers. However, the return button is where the problem is, not the IPN signals. Also, Payment Data Transfers are URL based, where as the button is "Post" form based. The same info is sent, it's just sent as post data rather than URL.

Mine doesn't work. And I just wanted to let you all know that I called PayPal and they said they are aware of this issue and that they have escalated the issue... I guess that means they will look at the problem after lunch, rather than after the weekend :)

Yeah, I called them too. They said that they were aware of the problem and that they have it set as "Top Priority." Don't know what that means, but ok.
