Is there a marriage here?

Yahoo supports PHP and MySQL. Does Paypal generate code in either PHP or MYSQl?

I am trying to establish a subscription based site using yahoo but I am not sure about using the paypal perl code ..... any suggestions?

I'm not sure I understand. Are you referring to Yahoo Groups? If so, have a look at http://www.mollyguard.com which offers a service to fee-enable Yahoo Groups.

PayPal's interface is language independent. You can use PHP, PERL, ASP, ColdFusion, Java, etc. The easiest way to develop a subscription-based, online service is to use PayPal's Password Management which generates usernames and passwords and, via a PERL script isntalled on your server, automatically updates your password file.

actually, they discontinued that service a few months back. too bad, i thought that was pretty useful. (not sure whether it was their decision or Yahoo's, however... oh well).

however MollyGuard does offer several other useful PayPal-related services, including a service for managing events and collect ticket/event fees (MollyGuard Events), and also a service for payment-enabling website content (MollyGuard Access).
