Hello everyone, im new to paypal! :)

Ok i got a really big favor to ask. Does anyone know a script, that can do the following?

Present the following fields:

-------------------------------------------------

Your Name: [__________] (textfield)
Amount: [__________] (textfield that only accepts a number)
[ Donate ONCE ] (option one)(drop down list with these two options)
[ Donate Monthly ] (option two)
|Donate| (a donate button)

We want to Thank: (a self updating thank you)
Joe Smith $5 (donator name and amount)

----------------------------------------------------------------
And, i think you get my point :)

I want the script to pass two parameters the amount and the name, back to website after the payment and add to a list of donations, say right underneath the thank you part. This should be done immediately after the payment is approved.

The fields pretty much are self explanatory. I want the amount to be either payed once, or on a subscription basis. Its up to the user.

Thanks, and if this too much to ask im sorry! ^^

Just wanted to add some extra details:

- Im using a php website
- this will be in a side-menu
- and if you could somehow list the donators from largest donation to smallest that would be cool :)

Hello,

Here is a contribution form that could be used for donations.

Hey, thats pretty cool. But its still not exactly what im looking for heh!

I see that perhaps im asking too much...

If anybody would be willing to put together a script, that would work like i wanted to above, i would be grateful.

Infact, give me a price for services, and i will say yes or no, and i would pay you some money for it! :)

Hello,

So you want the option of a Buy Now for one time donation and Subscription for on going donations.

You want a Thank You for your contribution, listing the customers name and amount.

You want the return page from PayPal to list those that want to be displayed, listed on a page with the dollar amount next to their name.

You can use either two buttons, one for one time one for subscription, or javascript that changes the variables based on selection, or PHP script that sends to a calculations page then sends them to PayPal based on what they selected.

You can then use PDT to display the details and thank them and print out for their records the donation.

You can use IPN to write the information to a database or file and then list the folks on the page you want by calling the file.

Here is an example, not for donation, but using all of these features:

Yea basically.

I can't code javascript, or anything like that.

So if someone can either make this script for me, or offer a price they would want for the help i'd be willing to pay like i said heh.

Maybe this is the wrong place to post this?
(if it is im sorry! you can move the topic :P)

Stephen's form (http://paypaltech.co...ontribution.htm) contains an html error. You will need to remove the incomplete table that looks like this '<table border="0" width="43%"><td width="75%">'

My goal is to set up a form on my site to capture all required info for political donation and have this info show on the transaction information for both the donor and the candidate's paypal accounts.
I have used Stephen's code from paypaltech carefully. I am only able to capture os0 and os1... I have double checked that names in form are os variety and hidden values passed are on. I need to capture about 9 fields. the nomenclature on0_1 completely fails. Also, it looks like amount_1 is not working.
