A client is requesting configuring their store to offer free products, but charge for shipping.
Sample Product Price: $0.00 Shipping: $6.50
The communication of the charge being for shipping (and showing up in the shipping part of the receipt) is important to the client. I've tried manually doing this with paypal add to cart buttons and with a third party shopping cart but have always been foiled when the control switches over to paypal's shopping cart.
Has anyone else had to develop a solution like this or does anyone have any ideas about how can I make this work?
Thanks! Ben....

You won't be able to pass "amount" as 0.00 even if you are passing "shipping" with a value. try seeing if you could change the amount to .01 penny and set the shipping less a penny.

You need to either get a postal scale or take items all packed up to the post office to get them weighed. Many people lose money guessing. I have a scale. I weigh my items in the box and use the shipping calculator on ebay so buyers can see the cost according to their zip code.
